Kearney Youth Football Fundraising

Arranging the ABC’s of our Strategy
I. Begin by building on the foundation that has been laid, while fine tuning each area
a. Continue to seek Sponsor contributions
b. Continue to seek individual contributions
c. Continue to seek business contributions
II. Create a vision that adheres to the direction and goals of the Kearney Youth and High school football programs
a. Define the fundraising program with a simple vision statement that is easily used and remembered by potential contributors and board members
b. Identify specific financial needs
c. Develop a short, medium and long range plan to meet those needs
d. Continue to keep the Kearney Youth Football vision; including the purpose and importance of youth football in the development of life building skills, along with financial obligations that occur because of this goal, in front of potential and current contributors
e. Broaden our base of potential contributors. Looking outside our current parent base to other potential contributors that have a passion for youth development
f. Continue to recruit people that have a desire to help work toward our vision
III. Develop a committee of talented and diverse backgrounds to get us started
a. The committee would create our financial vision statement
b. The committee would help with contacting current and potential contributors
c. The committee would give advice and direction on fundraising activities
d. The committee would ‘inspect what we expect’ in the fundraising program
IV. Enactment
a. We have already contacted several people that are interested in serving on the committee and have already met
b. We are currently working on a vision and purpose statement.
c. We have already contacted several business and individual contributors
d. Begin considering the several fundraising ideas that have been presented, along with collaborating on other fundraising ideas.
i. Golf Tournament
ii. Poker Night
iii. Concession sales at home events
